I think of how hard we have all tried to promote our material. I think
it has taken years to do. Look in CINAHL, Index Medicus, pubmed; OVID,
SilverPlatter, Clin-e-guide, full text; look on the Library shared pages
on the intranet; EBM databases; etc. It has taken us a long time to get
here. --I truly hope that print is not dead. I know it is going to new
formats!!! New challengers and new directions--I think and know I will
learn!! I might be slow, but I will get there!!
I remember the first talk about www, I thought I would be lost!

That was really something, someone really had to think that through to
get it to work. I was outraged - of course! - until it had played about
half. I still think a lot of this Web 2.0 and multimedia stuff is
overhyped and overdone, but "Print is dead" sure gives me something to
think about...
