    I just saw this posting on VPN.  This is an operating organic dairy for 
sale near Barre.
Margo and I looked at this farm when it was for sale a couple of years ago 
(its been on and off the market) and listed it with Preston Bristow.  Good 
soils and some fields have potential for horticulture, serviceable barns 
with a significant milking parlor.  House needs to be gutted.  There was no 
easement on it when we looked at it, and I assume that is still the case.
    I don't see windmills in this picture, but he did have two new windmills 
up there when we toured it, though I saw that he gave a presentation with 
Jack Lazor a year later and said that they severely underperformed, so maybe 
he gave up on them.
    They had an EQIP contract to build the superstructure which is in the 
picture, and also to build a liquid pit which I hope they didn't do.  here

    I think this place has potential for organic dairy, livestock, or 
diversified with  horticulture.
