When I remember to do it I look out the kitchen window at my bird feeders to
see what the last bird of the day will be. The Northern Cardinal is by far the
most common last bird of the day, but last night when I looked out there
wasn't any birds in sight. Instead a beautiful Gray Fox was sniffing around the
feeding area. What a nice surprise! I have never seen a gray fox before in
Vermont. I was wondering if they are being seen in other areas also or are
they just expending northward and new to this area? Sorry about this non-bird
post but I thought others might be interested and could help shed some light
on the Gray Fox for me. Please answer off Line
