Found the following in my drive/walk around West Rutland Marsh today:
What sounded like one million Red Winged Blackbirds - saw approximately a
dozen at any one time. Only found on female.
6 Canada Geese
3 American Crows
2 Common Grackles
4 European Starlings
1 Black Capped Chickadee
1 American Robin
5 Rock Pigeons
and, most notably, a Peregrine Falcon, which was being harassed by the five
Rock Pigeons. Unfortunately I didn't realize what it was until I returned
home and looked at the poor quality pictures I was able to get of the fight.
No American Bitterns heard this time, although I did hear two when I visited
