a gee-whiz presentation tool, does not liven up a boring speech.

It is too easy to get caught up in what is possible with the million tools
available, that we ignore what can be done with what we already have and

Back to the topic, I am all for standardization BTW, as stated it's a great help
with troubleshooting and spare parts.
However my paycheck is going to be roughly the same at 99% standard or
99% disparate. The only thing that will change is the cause of my aggravation.
