I realize this is a pretty old thread, but...
Microsoft Forefront is $2/ws/yr on a school agreement. It's the same
engine as security essentials, but with centralized reporting, updating,
My experience with it so far is it hasn't caught every variant of Vundo
and that ilk that we've encountered, but when I submit a sample of
something I've found to their web site, they've analyzed it and gotten
back to me in hours, and the next pattern release the next day catches it,
so I haven't spent nearly as much time weeding the same virus off multiple
machines as I used to with SAV.
