A scouting trip for Saturday's bird walk at Branbury Beach S.P. produced the following list. Also of interest was the bar-headed robin, the bird had a horizontal white bar wrapped around the back of it's head. I believe I saw one there last year so think it must be the same bird.
Barn swallows were busy at the nests and one played catch with a feather over the lake but never did take it to a nest. Sapsuckers were being chased by
juveniles as was the oriole.
The walk will be at Branbury 9:00 a.m.------ not my choice of time but the state. Park fees apply.
