An Olive-sided Flycatcher is calling persistently this morning in the Smith
Pond wetlands across the road. I think this is at least the fifth year of
seeing and hearing (at least) one occasionally here throughout the spring
and early summer, and more consistently starting about now. Unmated male(s),
dispersing birds?
Great to savor that pure Northerness in any case...
