Yesterday I spotted a juv. Black-crowned night heron fishing in one of the same ponds on the way into Farrell Access. I was able to take a great photo. About an hour later I returned to the mud flats at Farrell and there was a pile of feathers looking like the night heron! I assume an eagle must have taken such a large bird.
