 While conducting the monthly monitoring survey at the Green Mountain Audubon Center in Huntington this morning, three of us were nearly bowled over by a noisy Merlin crashing through the woods in pursuit of breakfast. We were surveying the brushy/woodsy section of the property called the Sensory Trail near the main office building, if anyone wants to try for a repeat performance.
