Larry, I have done some investigating and experimenting, and I can't induce
my system to scroll documents slowly, though I'm sure I've seen that
behavior in the past.
I can think of three settings that might be related, but none are located
1. Internet control panel, advanced tab:
[ ] "Use smooth scrolling"
2. System control panel, advanced tab, performance settings:
[ ] "Smooth-scroll list boxes"
3. Mouse control panel, Wheel tab, scrolling options.
I twiddled each of these setting and it didn't seem to impact the speed of
scrolling in my Word documents, but your mileage may vary.
