Final reminder: campus support for our older blogging software,  
Moveable Type, will end on November 1. The server will be shut down  
soon after that and all blog postings will be deleted.

Our new blogging software is WordPress.
If you wish to transfer your Movable Type content into Wordpress, you  
will need to email this request to [log in to unmask]

Otherwise, to create a new WordPress blog:
         1. Go to http://blog.uvm.edu/
         2. Log in with your UVM Net ID
         3. Click create a blog

(If you wish to save your MovableType entries for other use, from the  
main menu in MovableType, click the blog title. Click import/export.  
Choose the export entries tab and follow the instructions.)

The CTL is offering a workshop, "Blogging with Wordpress," November  
10, 2:30-4:00pm. Registration is required at  
http://www.uvm.edu/ctl/events/.
