I just got mine to work late last night. I tried updating the email client from the client its self on the phone itself which said there were no updates. Then I went on the Verizon app store on my phone and there was an entirely new free email app, I installed it on my phone, which replaced the old email program. The new email program works fine and is much faster than the old one. The new email program does not ask for any port or security settings but it was able to figure them out on its own.

Anyone with an older Verizon phone that is having a problem I would recommend ditching the old email app and looking for the new one.

I have tried all port configurations on my phone (Samsung Alias2) and I am still getting the sever cannot be found error. I also have a client at the helpline who cannot access their email despite trying the various port configurations (TLS & 143, SSL & 993, etc.). They are using an ENV2. I can't find any other settings to try.

Thanks,
Charley
