We have had a Barred Owl perched on a tree behind our house for two days. We live at the foot of Mount Anthony and though they are common up there, this is only the second time in over 30 years that I have seen one in our yard. The other birds, including the crows are ignoring it. Usually the crows cannot stand to have a hawk anywhere near the yard to say nothing about an owl. They have been in the same tree so they are aware that it is here.
