Looking to find a few species for Essex and Orleans the last two days I came 
up with a few to start us off. Of couse I checked the top of almost every 
conifer for that special Owl but no luck today.
In Orleans:
35 Snow Buntings
225 Mallards (Crystal Lake 1/2 acre open spot)
32 Horned Larks
12 Brown-headed Cow Bird (great bird for the Kingdom in late Jan.)
2 Black ducks
1 Red-tailed Hawk

In Essex today:
1 Bald Eagle (adult) no open water around
1 Cooper's Hawk
160 Snow Bunting (good for Essex with so few farms)
2 Ravens
