During a field trip today, the UVM ornithology class, Ernie Buford, and I
had a first winter Glaucous Gull loafing on the ice from the boathouse.
 Several late staying students and I also enjoyed an adult Peregrine Falcon
near Blodgett Beach.  Yesterday there was a 2nd winter Iceland Gull off of
Blodgett's Beach, but we didn't see it today.
