Liz Lackey and I went looking for the Northern Hawk Owl and had success at
9:30 am today. We saw that handsome creature on Route 2 West out of
Montpelier perched on a tree off to the left of the second bridge over I-89.
Quite a sight. We then proceeded down Route 2 to visit the brilliant
Varied Thrush in Bolton. What gracious folks the Kenneys are!
