For Bennington County birders, Our county is going to enter the fray. Sponsors are in the works and for now myself or Bonnie Dundas are going to attempt being captains. This is just to get the ball rolling so we do not get too far behind and if anyone else wants to help there, please feel free. Rules as sent to me by Kent

The rules are simple. Follow ABA birder ethics, you have to physically be in the county but the bird can be outside the county - see it or hear it across a border. Decisions on rare or out of season birds is up to VBRC. The offical record is Vermont eBird.
So please put your sightings into Vermont eBird for them to count. We already have a great sighting with pics included of a Long Eared Owl by the Reynolds in Bennington. There are a lot more goodies floating around out there I am sure. Good luck and Good birding. Kevin
