Fascinated by Owls? Of course, you are. On Wednesday, January 19 join the
members of the GMAS for a program focused on Northern Saw-whet Owls. Sean
Beckett, the 2008 recipient of our Haidee Antram award, will present a
program entitled "Who Hoots for You?". Sean spent this past summer at the Idaho
Bird Observatory participating in their renowned owl banding program. Sean
will tell us about his experience banding Northern Saw-whet Owls,
illustrating his talk with his own photographs. Join us to learn more about Saw-whet
Owls and their fascinating behavior.
This program will be presented at the Dorothy Alling Library on route 2 in
Williston starting at 6:30 P.M. and is free and open to the public. Free
parking is available in the library's parking lot. For a preview check out
one of Sean's photographs on the GMAS website at

Hope to see you there-
