Does anyone have experience planting hard fescue in the walkways of a
berry field, as a way of minimizing mowing? I've heard that it germinates
best in the fall, and it can sometimes have trouble out-competing pasture
grasses (of which we have a lot in our orchard). Any advice on how well it
works and the best methods for getting it started is appreciated!
