Yes!  Reading this, I was wondering why anyone would think panus = neck, and 
what purpose would putting *anyone's* neck in a sling serve anyway???  
Perhaps the term "panniculus" is more familiar to some here.  I never knew 
such a thing existed.  When I think of all the times I could have used a 
panus/panniculus sling....
