My information about pay came from the SDMS pay rate information, I may have
read what I wanted to read, but this is a overview of their inquiry about pay
scale. California is one of the highest paying states, but Don, unfortunately,
I would say San Diego is not on the list for high pay. I instantly made 5 bucks
more an hour when I transferred to Los Angeles. :)
From SDMS website.
For sonographers who hold a single credential, the highest income (total annual
income of at least
$65,000) was reported as:• RVT 62.7%• RDCS 62.3%• RDMS 53.4%

No argument here: galactocele is decidedly a one dollar word. I had to look it
up.

Hey there, hold on just a hot second! I get to use words like galactocele!!
that should count for something shouldn't it? e/RDMS/MI and our downtown
techs get $1 more if they get their RVT. certainly worth it!

At our place in San Diego, we used to get paid five bucks an hour less than
the general US techs. We were glad to be brought up to parity with them, let
alone think about getting paid more. Though of course we do more exalted
work and thinking than they do. Of course.
