Chris Petrak and I went out to Putney School today to look for the pine
warbler and waxwings posted yesterday by David Moon. The PIWA was at the
feeder as previously reported, but it was looking a bit wacked out. Its
plumage was a little bedraggled and the bird was behaving strangely. It has
been pretty cold at night with a strong windchill.
Found a flock of about 250 BOWA plus a few CEWA feeding on the crab apples
in the center of the school campus - very nice and thanks to David for
posting these beauties.
