We are looking forward to PKD Nationals in Portland.
Also, I would like to put in a good word for NFA Nationals. We tend to average about 100 students in LD policy debate at NFA Nationals. There is also a very large IE tournament at the same time.
I agree with Tuna and Scott that forensics is flourishing in the US. With all of the different leagues added together the total number of colleges and universities competing may be larger than it was 30 or 40 years ago. That is an encouraging thought.
Best of luck to all,

And I agree...healthy forensics is a wonderful thing regardless of where it
happens. We just love that such an impressively comprehensive range of
forensic activity is happening this week in Portland, OR.

CEDA nationals this year, 139 teams.
NPDA nationals this year, 160 teams.
USU/WUDC nationals this year, 200+ teams, probably 212.
Interesting. Comments welcome. For me, I am glad that there is so much more
debating going on in the USA in many formats. Plus, NFA-LD, APDA, CPF, IPDA,
etc. More debate good.
If you want more information about the WUDC format please feel free to ask
and I will send you links to training materials.
