The birds of winter are still here in force in Washington Co.
Location: Moretown Village
Observation date: 3/21/11
Notes: Back to winter weather on the first full day of Spring. Light
snow all day with temp steady @33. I first spied/heard 22 BoHos in the top
of the neighbors Sugar Maple this morning @8:15am. When I went out a little
later they were gone, but I could still hear them. Suddenly, there was a
huge flyover and my count of 200 may actually be on the low side. They were
heading south at tree top level.
Number of species: 2
