Today while running Saturday errands between Springfield and Norwich
The following observations were made:
Several flocks of Common Grackles (FOY) at various locations.
150+ Bohemian Waxwings feeding in a flowering crabapple tree at 54 VT
106 (former Stantec offices on River Road) in North Springfield.
An adult Bald Eagle perched in a tree at the confluence of Little
Sugar River and the Connecticut River in Charlestown, NH. Seen from
US 5 in VT. Yesterday, there was another adult Bald Eagle perched in
a tree on the banks of the Black River in Perkinsville.
