Hi Birders,
Today I went to visit the Kenneys in Bolton. I'm happy to say that Varied
Thrush is still there, coming to visit the yard several times a day. He
was not excited about having so many Red-winged Blackbirds in the yard at
the same time, but he's still around. Other birds at the feeders included
many American Tree Sparrows, Titmice, Grackle, Cardinal, Nuthatch, and
Chickadees.
When I left, there was a flock of 20 Bohemian Waxwings at the intersection
of the drive to the mobile home park and Rte 2. It was fun to stand and
watch them flying from tree to tree and down to the ditch to drink.
Happy birding,
Pat
