Hi Patti (and others)-
I was hoping someone would ask. The Woodside NA is one of the parks managed by the Winooski Valley Park District. It's located off of route 15 across from Fort Ethan Allen, not too far from St. Michael's College and the Fanny Allen Hospital. Woodside Dr. is a right hand turn directly across from the Barnes Ave/West Dalton Dr. intersection with route 15 if you are going north. For more details visit the GMAS website (http://greenmountainaudubon.org) and click the link to Birding Hotspots, then select Woodside from the hotspot list. There Shirley Johnson has written a descriptive essay about Woodside accompanied by a trail map, a Local Motion map for directions, and a link to VT eBird for the Woodside checklist.
Red-shouldered Hawks have nested at Woodside for the past several years. This is the first time this season that I have seen one there, but Tom Jiamacello and Maeve Kim reported one at Woodside earlier this year.

Can you give more directions Bruce? Is there a road name... or something
more to go on?
