Apologies for the late announcement but today is the registration
deadline for a workshop at Gleason Grains in Bridport, VT on Thursday,
June 9 from 11 am to 3 pm.
The workshop called, "Producing High Quality Organic Bread Wheat," will
feature Ben and Theresa Gleason who have been growing and milling
organic wheat for more than 29 years. The day will include a tour of
their renovated processing facility and a discussion about a NE-SARE
Partnership grant project where Ben and Heather Darby of UVM Extension
are investigating the effects of topdressing organic soil amendments on
wheat growth, production and quality. More information about the

The workshop fee is $15 per person, which includes lunch provided by the
