Hi, Lizzie - I'd love to do a birding program on Burton Island. I
play music with a group that has given concerts on the Island for
several years now, but this year I'm going to be out of state that
week. I'd love another reason to have my annual Burton experience!
I've given birding workshops for Green Mountain Club, Missisquoi
National Wildlife Refuge, Vermont Outdoor Women, and several
libraries and schools. This morning, I taught a "Birding 101" class
on the top of Jay Peak for "Doe Camp", the annual women's outdoor
What I like to do is an hour or so of talking followed by a bird
walk. I usually bring extra binoculars as well as a spotting scope.
Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks!
