The North Branch Nature Center has expanded its "spring" bird walk series a
few additional weeks. Additionally, we will be hosting another eBird
workshop next week for anyone interested. Details of these events are

* Friday, June 10 and 17, 7:00-8:30 a.m.
*Fee: $5, free for members*
* Explore NBNC and other local birding hot spots for migrant and resident
birds, including Black-billed Cuckoo, Common Loon, Virginia Rail and much
June 10 - Cow Pasture, Barre
June 17 - Berlin Pond
* Wednesday, June 15, 7:00-8:30 p.m.
*Fee: by donation*
* Learn how to use this free online tool to keep track of and manage your
bird sightings as well as browse the millions of records contributed by
others around the world. Not only will we cover all of the many ways to use
eBird to our own personal gain, but we will also learn how scientists are
using eBird to study avian abundance and distribution on a grand scale. No
experience necessary, techno-phobes welcome!
