?? Doesn't Windows 7 come with built in parental controls ?

But this brings up an issue - one is the one you mentioned, parents
controlling the student's use of the machine; the other is the
"school" controlling what the parents do ... installing home printers,
installing home networks, installing this neat package we have at work
...

It seems like a mess brewing - who trains the parents, and who cleans
up the mess they make.
