Today there was a lone Little Blue Heron standing in the middle of the creek that runs along Milton Rd in Colchester.  it did not enjoy me stopping to stare at it and it lifted into the air and landed on the shore a few feet south and closer to the road. 

And yesterday there was a skein of 25 '/- Canada Geese heading northeast over the Ethan Allen Drive area of South Burlington.
