Wildlife Biologist, Shiloh Schulte, grew up in Jericho and has done
wildlife studies from
Alaska to Maine and all along the east coast.
Come hear Shiloh tell what makes American Oystercatchers important for
shorebird recovery
and talk about Vermont’s shorebirds. Bring your bird and conservation
questions!
Shiloh is a graduate of UVM now working on his PhD through NCSU
and works for the Manomet Center for Conservation Sciences.
Last year, Shiloh headed up Manomet’s shorebird recovery work
in the Gulf of Mexico, in the wake of the BP oil spill.
Shiloh recently returned from the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge where
he helped with
a migratory bird study.
