At around 11:30 this morning Ali Wagner, Patti Haynes, and I found a tight
raft of about 75 White-winged Scoters on Shelburne Pond. Very nearby to the
scoters were about 8 American Wigeon.
Earlier in the morning we were at Geprag Park in Hinesburg for a youth
birding event, with highlights being a pair of Ruby-crowned Kinglets, some
Blackpoll Warblers, and a Merlin trying its best to catch a Starling (didn't
succeed as far as we could tell)
