On Wednesday evening, October 12, join the members of the Green Mountain
Audubon Society for an entertaining program, The Birds of the Boreal Forest,
presented by renowned naturalist, David Govatski. During his long career
with the U.S. Forest Service, David devoted much of his time to the study of
boreal birds and their habitat in Alaska, the northern Midwestern states,
and the New England. This program will focus on the adaptations that boreal
birds and other species must make to survive in this harsh environment.
This program will take place at the Dorothy Alling Library on route 2 in
Williston starting at 6:30 P.M. and is free and open to the public. Free
parking is available at the library.
