Please join me in welcoming UVM Surgical Residents Dr Sarah Lomas and Dr
Reshma Patel this Friday at noon to the CTS Friday Noon Seminars in S359 at the
Courtyard in Given.
Dr Lomas and Dr Patel traveled to Haiti October 29 - November 5, 2011. They
joined a group led by Dr. Cataldo (currently a colorectal surgeon here at FAHC)
and Dr. Shackford (former Chair of the Dept of Surgery at FAHC and currently a
vascular surgeon and critical care attending at Scripps in San Diego, CA), who
have been making this trip annually for about 10 years. The purpose of the
week-long trip is to perform surgery at the hospital in Milot, Haiti.
