I went to the Charlotte Ferry Landing in hopes of finding a redhead .  
As soon as I got out of the car, I thought I saw one! I immediately  
got out my scope and focused on the duck - and was astonished to see  
an unusual flat boat drift into my sight, a man lean out, pluck the  
duck from the water and put it in the boat in front of him. I've  
never seen decoys in that bay before, but there were at least 15   
today. Very unfair to birders!
