Winds were out of the South today at Berlin Pond with temp @42 degrees. At
around 10:30am several groups of Canada Geese flew over the north end
heading south. It was very interesting to see their aerobatic moves, sharp
turns and dives, as each group decided to rest there. The flocks then hung
out together in a long line mid-lake.

14 species

Canada Goose 237 14 on the pond when I arrived. 8 further out. Then
the fly ins began: 33+40+40+100+2 that were also on the pond sans
group.
American Black Duck 7
Mallard 1 One lone male off Mirror Lake Rd
Ring-necked Duck 2 north end
Hooded Merganser 6
American Coot 1 Lone bird at the south end. Others may have been
hidden from view.
