I had a quiet day watching the feeders yesterday, but this morning
started off with a flurry-- when I walked downstairs, there was my red-
bellied woodpecker on the tray feeder! Within moments, it was
replaced by a pair of hairy woodpeckers, together so I can count
both. In fact I'm keeping an eye out, as I think there might be three
hairies out there.
Today's special breakfast item is a handful of pumpkin seeds on the
tray feeder; I've noticed in recent years that titmice love them, and
that's what the redbelly was enjoying today.
Happy watching, everyone!
