Had excellent viewing of the Scaup Raft in Goose Bay, Lake Champlain
(1.6 miles southeast of the Champlain Bridge by water) this morning.
Hard to accurately determine the ratio of Lessers to Greaters as the
Greaters seem quite unevenly distributed in the raft. Estimated 10:1
Lessers/Greaters.
Also heard and saw a Gray Catbird. Until this fall there was only one
previous record in eBird for the state in November. This November there
are now three Catbird sightings already.
