Yesterday we had the CBC in Salem NY, just over the border. In the interest of things to look out for, I will let you in on my big surprise for the day. A male Rufous-sided Towhee. Good views by myself and another experienced birder and the Tow hee call was heard repeatedly. Kevin CBC participant, not Marie Christmas tree purchaser.
