I've been following this thread with fascination.  The most beautiful bird
in my opinion appears to be the Bluebird ...both Eastern and Mountain.  This
is a bird that is gorgeous on a snowy winter morning sitting on a pasture
fence and equally beautiful sitting atop a bird house on a spring morning.

I'll sign on for the song of the Hermit Thrush being the one that makes the
hair on the back of my neck stand up.  Pure bliss!!
