Barrow's Goldeneye (male)-seen today at Blodgett's Beach in Burlington. An easy catch with binoculars and with the goldeneyes swimming just off the beach. Thanks to Bryan for his post describing this (beautiful) bird.

Also, a not-so-beautiful, late-in-the season Double-crested Cormorant. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I guess.
