Has anybody else encountered this issue and found a cure? Excel v. 14.1.4
on a Mac with OS 10.7.2. After using Excel, several (six) files suddenly
appeared on the desktop. They are not user-created, have odd names and are
labeled .xlsx files. They cannot be deleted or moved. I cannot use Get Info
on them to see if they are locked. If I try to open them going through
Excel, the program does not see them.
I searched online Microsoft support sites and this does not come up as a
known issue. I posted a message, only to find that it was merely stuck up on

I upgraded to Office 2011 around Christmas time mainly so I would not have
to keep converting .docx files people keep sending me and I am underwhelmed.
