We have a mixed environment. Try to put between 3-5 desktops in each
classroom and then have a cart of 20 laptops. Teachers and students like having
the convenience of the desktops for quick access since they are always on.
On another note, this new service OnLive Desktop Plus brings the windows
environment (Office- free) to the iPad (and later, Android) at supposedly
lightening speed ---according to the NYT. Makes for interesting reading:
