If it's complete study of the IVC or the Aorta and each including iliacs, you
can use 93978 (in answer to your question).
We use 93978 for Endograft AAA eval, aortoiliacs and ivc-iliacs bilaterally.
We use 93979 for any of the above that is limited (often) or unilateral (rare).
Any iliac vessel bypass graft is under 93979.
We use 93975 for complete renal artery duplex and mesenteric duplex (we
don't do them together, usually).

>The question has arisen as to why we would use the complete code for
aorta/iliac arteries but the limited code for IVC/iliac veins?
>I didn't have a good answer :)
>According to the CPT book:
>93978 "Duplex xcan of aorta, IVC, iliac vasculature or bypass grafts:
>93979 is "unilateral or limited study"
>I thought it was a good question, and I need the advice of my flownetters.
>Have a great day!
