This is the first year in 10 that neither of our bluebird houses were used by tree swallows to nest.

Saturday, tree swallows entered a newly provided bird house, carrying
nesting material. I used to have numerous Tree and Barn Swallows
nesting here in Lincoln. Then they disappeared for many years, so it
was great to see the Tree Swallows again.
