I stopped to check on the fledged Peregrines an hour or so ago. All three
were perched on a dead tree at the very top of the cliff. One of the adults
was near by.
Next I went down to Doc Green's on Rte 7 and on my return I stopped at 'the
dugway' to see what the Bank Swallows were up to. At least seven active
nests and very well could be more. I watched adults darting in and out
And totally off topic but exciting for me. I found a lovely little stand of
Ebony Spleenwort this morning while out for a walk.
