I just wanted to provide a quick reference and update on bats.

Vermont actually hosts nine bat species, as Bill pointed out 6 hibernate in our caves and mines and the other three species migrate south in the fall.
There are still a few colonies of little browns around, so the sighting in Bennington is a possibility. If anyone has more than a couple dozen in their house we would like to know, there is a form on the website to submit.
